I haven't posted on my blog in a minute. I'm in my final year (fucking finally) and I'm about a month into the fall semester. Thought I'd post my Honda research boards (two of them) to show where I'm at before I start posting sketches. Slightly abstracted information, but the boards explain my customer, the vehicle bench-marking I'm competing within, form and detail inspiration, and the life of the customer. The project states that we design a vehicle for 2025 and use the key word: utility. Not in the typical sense, but how the customer's lifestyle utility integrates into any vehicles segment we want to design.

Still gray again and blurry/fuzzy. Not sure what I'm doing differently when I'm scanning. I wanted to show you how configurable the Fiat interior design I've created can be.

Don't know why this JPEG came out gray and slightly fuzzy, but this is the famous sketch that I hadn't finished, before someone-I-will-not-name, used my sketch page as a notepad (phone number edited out). So now I finally got around to scanning this in and posting it. The idea is that versatility is key in city vehicles, in that when passengers aren't occupying space, the interior can then be that much more useful.

More rough exterior doodles. I need to push the design more. This part of my project will be put on hold since I really only like to design interiors, and I need that work to be paramount this exterior portion of the project.

This board is the second half of the research board presented two weeks ago or so. Green shows the modularity and additive items and customer technology in the interior, and the green for the exterior shows the lighting them synonymous with Fiat. I'm trying to incorporate a second form of mobility, cleverly packaged within the interior close to the driver.

Some copic fine-line marker pen doodles. Trying to come up with a retro | modern theme for my Fiat project. Trying to take design cues from the Fiat 126 compact car. Look for my new presentation board to better explain the modular idea and extend research from the last research board.

Just a board for the research I've been doing as a story for my interior design.

The Chrysler branded project has begun. Made a few small boards showing my idea. A more finalized research and inspiration board will be made to show my concept for an interior which will be designed around packaged forms of personal transportation (ie. scooter, bike etc.). The project can be Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram or Fiat branded.

I'm honored to have been featured in the MAINEvent's Design Icons booklet available during event Sunday evening. I am in no way a design icon but I'm unbelievably grateful to have been placed next to some amazing talent, many of which I am inspired by. Thank you again AllTheSketches.com! I can't thank you guys enough. Hope everyone stays tuned for this semester's work (I swear I'll post more, wasn't feeling it last semester).

I did a quick marker-esq rendering in photoshop because I'm a cheep bastard.
